Application Guidelines
- Applications may be submitted throughout the year. The Project will review applications for support, at periods determined by the number of applications. Rejected applications may be submitted again, after noticeable improvements have been made, 3 months after receipt of the rejection. A second rejection is absolutely final.
- Filmmakers – producers and/or directors, and/or screenwriters – having proven experience are eligible to submit applications.
- Applications may be submitted in Hebrew or English only.
- The application should be submitted to films.project@yadvashem.org.il and also in 5 printed copies to: The Yad Vashem Project for Film Co-production, 11 Perets St., Kfar Saba 44418.
- The application must include:
- Application Form
- Synopsis
- Statement of intentions on the nature of the film and its objectives (in case of documentary)
- Technical summary of the film including filming format, broadcast and/or screening format, length of the film, number of filming days, number of editing days
- Script
- Film budget and sources of the financing, and the amount requested from the Project
- Contacts that have already been made concerning the production of the film, its financing or distribution (only written agreements)
- Short CVs of director, producer and screenwriter
- DVD of the film in its condition during the application
The Project may request 5 hardcopies of the application to be sent via post services.
- The Project will send a response to applicants following processing of the application. The Project's management is not obligated to explain its decision.
