Greg Schneider, Claims Conference Chief
Operating Officer, attended a gathering at Yad Vashem on 15 January in
honor of the longstanding cooperation between the two organizations.
Since March 2002, 35 Claims Conference workers have been based at Yad
Vashem, searching archival materials to substantiate Jewish slave and
forced labor fund claims. To
date they have found a record-breaking 21,000 matches linking
Holocaust survivor claimants to their places of internment.
