6-22 January: Seminar for educators from Australia and Eastern Europe.

12-16 January: “The Holocaust and I”—Training seminar for cadets of the

pre-military preparatory school at Nachshon. Following the seminar, cadets will conduct Holocaust workshops in development towns.

20 January: “A City That Reads”—Evening with author Savyon Liebrecht at Beit Wolyn, Yad Vashem’s Center for Holocaust Education, Givatayim.

21-22 January: Preparatory seminar for trip to Poland for students from Israel’s Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs’ institutions.

26 January – June: First of six sessions on the fundamental history of the Holocaust for 200 students from Israel’s Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs’ institutions.

9-23 February: Seminar for educators from Denmark.

12-13 February: “Green Branch from a Fallen Tree” project—first of six sessions to prepare children from Israel’s Rural Education Administration’s residential facilities for trip to Poland.

13 February: Symposium for staff members of the German Embassy in Israel and volunteers from Ot Kaparah (Sign of Repentance) at Beit Wolyn.

18 February: Workshop for members of Israel’s Writers’ Union.

10 March: “A City that Reads”—Evening with author Aharon Appelfeld at Beit Wolyn.

11 March: Tribute to the Jewish fighters and partisans at Beit Wolyn, as part of the teacher-training seminar “The Face of the Uprising.”

28 March –9 April: Seminar for educators from Austria.

2 April: Workshop for members of the Israel Defense Force’s (IDF) delegation to Poland.

7 April: “Accord of Pain and Hope”—Opening of Internet course for educators, focusing on the Stanislavov Jewish community during the Holocaust.

18-30 April: Seminar for educators from Switzerland.

30 April: Workshop on “Jewish Heroism During the Holocaust” for Israel’s Minister of Internal Security, the Commander-General of Israel’s Police Force, and 300 senior officers.
