cantorial concert in Yad Vashem’s Warsaw Ghetto Square: for
the first time in public, the Yuval Choir and renowned cantors
from Israel and around the world will perform works by the
greatest cantors and composers in Jewish history—some of whom
perished during the Holocaust—as well as a collection of today’s
well-known pieces.
4-9 July 24th IAJGS International Conference on Jewish
Genealogy in conjunction with Yad Vashem, in Jerusalem. A
special session will be held for participants at Yad Vashem on 5

The Fourth International Educators’ Conference at the
International School for Holocaust Studies, in conjunction with “Oranim”,

Institute for Holocaust Research Conference on “Holocaust
Research in Context: The Emergence of Research Centers and
Approaches”
Marking the 60th
anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the “Return to
Life”, Yad Vashem will hold a special International and
Multi-Generational Gathering of Holocaust Survivors and Their
Families from 4-9 May 2005. The conference will center on
identification with Holocaust survivors and recognition of their
rehabilitation and involvement in Israeli society, on their
contribution to the memory of the Shoah, and on preparing
future generations to continue Holoaust remembrance.
