This year, 2005, marks 60 years since the end of World War II and the liberation of the infamous Nazi camps. In an effort to mark this historic date, more than 18,000 students will journey to Poland this year, and visit Holocaust memorial sites. |

A study seminar in Poland requires physical,
emotional and intellectual preparation. This site offers historical background
and photographs about some of the places that you will visit: cities whose
Jewish communities were destroyed, concentration camps and extermination
centers, highlighting information about the Jewish world before the Holocaust,
and Holocaust survivor testimonies.
