In late January 2009, advanced graphic design students will exhibit a
series of postcards (12 x 18 cm) focusing on Holocaust remembrance.
A committee of experts from Yad Vashem and The Neri Bloomfield Wizo Academy of Design and Education will select the designs no later than December 27, 2008.
On January 26, 2009, the postcards will be uploaded to the Yad Vashem
website along with suggestions on how to use these innovative designs in
the classroom.

Every student will prepare a series of five double-sided postcards (12 x 18 cm) |

Each postcard must include the logo of the submitter's educational institution, the Yad Vashem logo, and the words "January 27". |

A Zip file containing logos from Yad Vashem and the institutions is available here. Students have our permission to download and use these logos for this project. The logos have a transparent background and are available in a variety of formats (GIFs, PNGs, EPS, and Photoshop files) to be used in image editing software. |

The content of these designs may not contain any inappropriate graphic images,
political slogans or historical comparisons. |

The 5 double-sided postcards will be submitted as 10 JPG files: two sides of each postcard, at high-quality 300DPI resolution. |

Submissions should include your first and last names; name of your educational institution; email and
a brief description of your postcard series. |
