Ceremonies
This resource was developed in order to assist teachers and administrators in designing and conducting ceremonies commemorating the Holocaust. These sample ceremonies serve as guidelines for use in schools, classrooms and gatherings. Making use of a variety of primary sources from the period, these ceremonies are suited for January 27 and for the Israeli Yom Hashoah. Lesson Plans

Holocaust Resource Center
The Holocaust Resource Center contains thousands of documents, and is the world's largest online database on the Holocaust. Accessible to teachers, students, and the general public, the Resource Center features a variety of scholarly and educational materials including a concise encyclopedia of the Holocaust, photographs, research papers, maps, letters, diaries and survivor testimonies. January 27, 2007 – International Holocaust Remembrance Day
January 27 has been designated by the United Nations as the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust. On this special site, we provide short video testimony from four Israeli survivors, along with useful links to educational materials. Also included is a new ceremony in English, German and Italian, as well as guidelines for preparing ceremonies.
