Witnesses at the Eichmann Trial (film)

Testimonies from one of the most famous trials of the twentieth century. In spring 1961, the eyes of the world were focused on Jerusalem and on the trial of Adolf Eichmann, the notorious Nazi official responsible for the deportation of millions of Jews to extermination camps. Although arrested at the end of the war, Eichmann succeeded in fleeing to Argentina where he lived for ten years under an assumed identity. After his capture in 1960, he stood trial in Jerusalem. For the first time in Israel, Holocaust victims were able to confront Eichmann and their moving testimonies have been recorded for posterity.
