Three Dolls

“Three Dolls” is a teaching unit designated for young students of grades 2-6. It attempts to tackle the topic of the Holocaust through the eyes of the children that lived at that time, through their testimonies and perspective. Three Dolls present three Jewish girls (from France, Hungary and Poland) who survived the Holocaust under different circumstances, and their dolls, which became their individual symbols of rescue. For every girl depicted here, her doll was more than a toy: it also helped her to cope with her ever-changing reality. Discovery of the additional role of the doll in each of the stories is almost a game in of itself, serving as a didactic tool to arouse curiosity and interest among the young learners.

Price: US $10 | airmail: US $4
