Pictured here is a Purim play being held in the ghetto in Wielopole, Poland in 1942. The Jewish community in Wielopole was poor and numbered about 500. On June 26, 1942, the Germans expelled the entire community to Ropczyce and then to the Belzec death camp. Yad Vashem Archives 53CO8 |
