Progress in Progress: The building of the Entrance Complex and The New Museum Complex at Yad Vashem.

The Entrance Complex and The New Museum Complex are two of the cornerstones of the "Yad Vashem 2001" masterplan. The masterplan aims to meet present and future needs and challenges in Holocaust commemoration, preservation, research, and education. For more information about the masterplan, click here

Presented in this section is the actual construction progress of both complexes, juxtaposed with the illustrations and models that indicate how they will look when completed.

“Yad Vashem 2001” masterplan is the joint effort of a number of dedicated partners such as: the American Society for Yad Vashem, headed by Eli Zborowski, and Joseph Wilf, Campaign Chairman of “Yad Vashem 2001”,and  Yad Vashem’s societies worldwide. The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany is providing substantial funds, as is the Government of Israel. The concerted effort that Yad Vashem generates reflects the significance of Yad Vashem to the Jewish people as a whole.
