Progress in Progress: The New Museum Complex at Yad Vashem.

The Entrance Complex (recently completed) and The New Museum Complex are two of the cornerstones of the Yad Vashem Development Plan. The Development Plan aims to meet present and future needs and challenges in Holocaust commemoration, preservation, research, and education. For more information about the plan, click here

Presented in this section is the actual construction progress of the New Museum Complex, juxtaposed with the illustrations and models that indicate how it will look when completed.

The Yad Vashem Development Plan is the joint effort of a number of dedicated partners such as: the American Society for Yad Vashem, headed by Eli Zborowski, and Joseph Wilf, Campaign Chairman of the Yad Vashem Development Plan, and  Yad Vashem’s societies worldwide. The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany is providing substantial funds, as is the Government of Israel. The concerted effort that Yad Vashem generates reflects the significance of Yad Vashem to the Jewish people as a whole.
