The attempt that failed to return Amarant to his parents

This document, a letter of Himmler's office, states that his whereabouts are unknown

In November  1942 and agreement was concluded with Germany that permitted the return to the Land of Israel of Jews who had been living in Palestine before the outbreak of war and who had been visiting their families in return for German citizens living in Palestine. Oded Amarant was in the list of the Jews that could be returned, but by that time had already gone into hiding. This document, a letter of Himmler's office, states that his whereabouts are unknown.
