This year, Yad Vashem, The Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority, located in Jerusalem, Israel, is marking its 50th anniversary. For 50 years, Yad Vashem has been the leader in the fields of Holocaust education, commemoration, and research. It contains the world's single largest repository of information on the Holocaust. Nestled into the Mt. of Remembrance, Yad Vashem is a vast, sprawling complex of tree-studded walkways leading to museums, exhibits, archives, monuments, sculptures, and memorials.
