Franciszka Wojcicka and her son Mieczyslaw Wojciki gave shelter during the Holocaust to a Jewish mother and her daughter in Klimontow near Sosnowiec, Poland. The Polish family doesn’t remember the names of the Jewish women, but has photos of the two. The women had dyed their hair blond so that they would look Polish.
A Jewish boy by the name of Leonard was hidden by a Belgian farmer family in the village of Melen. The family has a photo where Leonard is seen second from left, but they don’t remember his last name or know his whereabouts.
